PEKAN, 7 August 2026 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has assumed the Rotating Presidency of ACNET-EngTech for 2026, strengthening its role in advancing regional cooperation in engineering and technology education.

UMPSA was elected to the role during the ACNET-EngTech Working Meeting held on 30 July 2026. The meeting was coordinated by Tianjin University, which serves as the network’s Permanent Secretariat on the Chinese side.
 

AUSTRALIA, 25 Jun 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) terus memperkukuh jaringan kerjasama akademik antarabangsa menerusi lawatan akademik dan penandaarasan ke CQUniversity Australia yang berlangsung pada 22 hingga 25 Jun 2026. 

Lawatan strategik itu melibatkan sesi penandaarasan di dua kampus utamanya, iaitu Kampus Melbourne dan Kampus Rockhampton.

JOHOR BAHRU, 9 July 2026 – The 8th International Conference on Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology (ICCEIB 2026), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was successfully held on 8 and 9 July 2026 at the Ramada Hotel by Wyndham Meridin, Johor Bahru, in a hybrid format, bringing together researchers, academics, industry practitioners, and students from various countries to exchange knowledge and strengthen international research collaboration in the fields of chemical engineering and industrial biotechnology.

PEKAN, 20 June 2026 – A recent visit by a delegation from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN), Indonesia, to the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) on 28 April 2026 has laid the foundation for a strategic academic partnership encompassing postgraduate education, research, academic mobility and international scholarly engagement.

PEKAN, 22 Jun 2026 – Seramai 12 orang pelajar bersama tiga guru pengiring daripada Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Peramu Jaya, SMK Dato Mahmud Mat dan SMK Seri Pekan berpeluang mendalami teknologi pemprosesan laser industri menerusi program komuniti bertajuk ‘Laser Your Future: Empowering High School Students with Cutting-Edge Processing Technology for Creative Expression’ yang berlangsung di Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
